  9. SB-SOUND.COM is compatible to the AdLib*'s sound driver
  10. (SOUND.COM).  It can be used to replace those software that require
  11. the ADLIB's sound driver: PGA TOUR GOLF, SPELL CASTING 101, FLIGHT
  12. OF THE INTRUDER, HARMONY.  Please allow us to remind you that the
  13. SB-SOUND.COM is a memory resident program.

  19. To install SB-SOUND.COM into you hard drive, just use COPY to copy
  20. the files in the SB Supplement Disk into your hard drive.
  21.  
  22. Put your SB SUPPLEMENT DISK into A drive, and then type
  23.  
  24. A:>COPY A:\SB-SOUND.* C:\SB\*.*

  31. SB-SOUND.COM has to be run before running any of these software.

  33. Type the following in the DOS prompt:

  35. C:\SB>SB-SOUND   [/Pnnn] [/Bnn]

  37.           where:
  38.           /Pnnn   : set the I/O address used on Sound Blaster.
  39.                     "nnn" is one of the six I/O addresses, 210,
  40.                     220, 230, 240, 250 and 260. Default is 220.
  41.  
  42.           /Bnn    : set the buffer size. "nn" specifies the
  43.                     buffer in K size. It value is from 1 to 64.
  44.                     Default is 4K.

  50. To uninstall (Remove the driver from memory.)  Type:

  60. For the Sound Blaster which I/O address is set other than 
  61. 220 Hex (210, 230, 240, or 260), the new SBFMDRV.COM enclosed 
  62. must be used for running PLAYCMF.EXE, SB-POP.EXE, or SBSING.EXE.
  63.  
  64. The TEST-SBC.EXE, and FMORGAN.EXE included in this supplement 
  65. disk are the newest in-house version of the FM softwares.  
  66. These files will allow the PC, XT, or AT** machine (Computer 
  67. speed of 4.77 to 10 MHz) to run the FM softwares.  However, 
  68. if your computer's speed is slower than 4.77 MHz, these program 
  69. will not make any different.  If you have a higher speed machine, 
  70. you do not have to use these files.  They will not make any 
  71. difference to you.

  73. For 33 MHz user, if the software included in the SOUND BLASTER
  74. package cannot run on your machine, these programs may also allow
  75. you to run the FM softwares.  If you still have problem to run the
  76. FM softwares, please try the following things in order:
  77.  
  78. 1) Disable any memory management program
  79. 2) Disable your CACHE memory
  80. 3) Slow down your machine
  81.

  86. To install the FM programs into you hard drive, just use COPY to
  87. copy the files in the SB Supplement Disk into your hard drive.

  89. Put the SB SUPPLEMENT DISK into A drive, and then type

  99. After you installed the programs, you can run them according to the
  100. Sound Blaster User Menu.  No special instruction is required.
